About EPS:
The EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organization) looks after social security for employees in India and offers three benefits :-
a) Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) - employees and employers jointly contribute 12% of the employee's basic salary and dearness allowance, provides a retirement corpus. At HUL, this contribution rests with an internal Fund. Please reach out to PF team.
b) Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) - employers contribute 8.33% of the employee's salary (with an upper cap of 15,000 as maximum base) for pension benefits.
c) Employee Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) - employers contribute 0.5%, providing insurance coverage.
